Barbon Parish Council

The Parish Council is the civil local authority for Barbon and is the lowest tier of local government. It is an elected corporate body, has limited tax raising powers, and is responsible for the civil parish of Barbon.

  1. There is a vacancy on the above Council caused by the resignation of Councillor Roger Groves.
  2. A bye-election to fill the vacancy will be held if within 14 days (not counting a Saturday or Sunday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Good Friday, or a Bank Holiday) from the date below 10 electors for the parish give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer.
